Frequently Asked Questions

If you are wondering whether this retreat is right for you, these are the questions most people ask before arriving.

Do I need prior yoga experience to join? +

No. This retreat is designed for both beginners and experienced practitioners. All practices are guided step by step, with options to rest or modify at any time. You are never expected to perform or keep up — only to arrive as you are.

How physically demanding are the trek and activities? +

The trek are moderate and slow-paced, meant for enjoyment rather than endurance. Participation is always optional. If your body asks for rest, you are encouraged to listen and skip without hesitation.

Is this retreat suitable and safe for solo travelers? +

Yes. Most participants arrive on their own. The environment is structured, supportive, and communal, allowing solo travelers to feel safe, included, and at ease from the first day.

What kind of food is served during the retreat? +

The meals are sattvic — light, nourishing, and designed to support yogic practice. The food is not spicy or heavy, and is prepared to leave you feeling clear, energized, and comfortable throughout the day.

Can I join even if I don’t meditate regularly? +

Absolutely. Many participants are new to meditation. The practices are introduced gently and progressively, with guidance throughout. There is no pressure to “do it right” — only an invitation to explore.

What is the typical age range of participants? +

Participants usually range from their early 20s to mid-50s. What connects everyone is not age, but a shared intention to slow down, reset, and reconnect.
